Gourmet paste – black Etna olives

This olive paste is produced in the hills of Monti Iblei in south-eastern Sicily. The ripe, black Tonda Iblea olives are harvested in autumn and marinated in salt water for six months. The olives are then processed into a delicious olive paste with DOP Monti Iblei olive oil, sea salt and a pinch of chilli pepper.

• Our black olive paste is extremely aromatic with a slight artichoke note. The chilli enchants the palate with subtle spiciness and ensures a long-lasting aftertaste.
• Our Tonda Ibela olive paste goes perfectly with toasted white bread, pizza or piadina with pecorino cheese and rocket. Add a little wine, garlic, rosemary and capers to create delicious lamb chops a la Messina.
