Our blood orange jam is made from carefully selected organic tarocco oranges from Sicily. The oranges are harvested in February in the province of Catania and then boiled with dextrose for 3 hours. This jam contains only fresh blood oranges and dextrose – no pectin or preservatives.

This organic mandarin jam  is made from fresh Sicilian Ciaculli mandarins and dextrose. Made by a small, sustainable producer in the province of Enna, this organic vegan jam is completely natural and without any preservatives. 100 grams of this Italian jam contains 140 grams of fresh mandarins.

Production: No added pectin in jam and jam

The recipe for our range of organic and vegan certified jams and jams is incredibly simple: The fresh, local fruit or ripe berries are stewed with dextrose for over 3 hours. Only after boiling for hours are the fruit processed into a natural marmalade or jam. No pectin, gelling agents, preservatives, colourings, citric acid and even less fruit concentrates or Kirstall sugar. The focus is therefore on the quality of the carefully selected ingredients and their meticulous processing by hand. 

Between 120 g and 140 g of fruit are used for every 100 g of our jam. Incidentally, the precious indigenous fruits – melissa strawberries, tarocco blood oranges, ciaculli mandarins and montagnola peaches - come exclusively from certified organic farms in Sicily. The fresh fruit is seasonally harvested by hand at the optimum ripening time. Strawberries, oranges and mandarins are harvested in February, while peaches are harvested in July, when the natural sugar content is highest.
