Gourmet paste – organic tomatoes

For our organic tomato paste, intensely fragrant Tondo Liscio tomatoes from the province of Ragusa are harvested in August and dried under the sun of Sicily for several days. Chopped and made into a pâté, they are immersed in premium DOP Monti Iblei olive oil.

• The Tondo Liscio Tomato has a strong, sweet and sour flavour. The result: an intense tomato paste that has everything from herb-like to fruity and floral.
• This pâté is perfect for flavouring sauces. Our tomato paté tastes best when warmed or cold on a pasta, a toasted piece of white bread or on a pizza with buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil.
